Now – About those other formats from Sony and Panasonic!

 Sony. Canon and Panasonic have been instrumental in defining digital video and creating their own labels for DV, SD and HD.

 Sony has marketed the uload tape format Beta with the Beta SP, DigiBeta and DVCAM formats. Sony is now embracing MPEG-2 as a future for video recording compression with BetaSX and HDCAM.

 Panasonic created the DVCPRO 25 – 50 and recently DVCPRO 100 or HD over Firewire
